Christian Women’s Fellowship (CWF)
Disciples Women, also known as Christian Women’s Fellowship (CWF), provides opportunities for fellowship, service and spiritual growth. CWF actively supports worldwide missions through contributions from its members at monthly meetings, luncheon meetings, candy sales, and jewelry and bake sales during the year. They are also a part of the Disciples Women of the Pacific Southwest Region.
The CWF is organized into three groups: Groups 1 & 2 meet the second Thursday of the month in the daytime at the home of a group member. Both groups take a summer break. Group 3 meets monthly on the first Wednesday of the month at 7pm in the Youth Hut.
Three times a year the 3 groups gather for a General Meeting that includes a luncheon and a special guest speaker.

NEXT LUNCHEON MEETING: call church office for information
PROJECTS:
All Groups:
Pop Top Collection – Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) collect pop tops from drink cans and other cans for recycle to earn money for their charity. We are honored to participate in this simple way to make a difference to the families and children supported by RMHC. A receptacle is located in the Narthex.
Group 3:
Hygiene Kits for the North Hollywood Interfaith Food Pantry: Group 3 would appreciate donations of items for hygiene kits. This is an ongoing project and the women assemble the kits during group meetings.
Hygiene kit: Donations include: hand towels (measuring approximately 16″ x 28″), washcloths, wide-tooth combs, nail clippers, bar of soap (bath size in wrapper), and toothbrushes (in original packaging).
We continue to ask for your support with prayers for the recipients and donations of money and Hygiene Kit items.

CYF – High School
9th – 12th Grades
CYF stands for Christian Youth Fellowship, and that is what we are: a group of Christian youth who are navigating together the murky waters of high school. We are a discussion-based group that focuses on faith, relationships, family, social issues, and life in general. We believe a group who plays hard, eats well and prays often will thrive. And the members will be better able to succeed in all aspects of their lives. We focus on challenging ourselves in order to go out into the world and make it a better place.
The group is open to all young people in grades 9th – 12th. The group meets Sunday morning for Sunday school at 10:30am in the Bride’s room, Sunday night between 6:30pm-8:00pm for fellowship and various fun activities and Wednesday from 3:30pm-5:30pm for after school study and fellowship. We will also have pop-up mission trips, sleepovers, and swimming parties. We believe in serving the community around us. This simple practice and belief has become an integral part of the CYF experience and journey.

CHI RHO – Middle School
6th – 8th Grades
Chi and Rho are the first two letters of the word “Christ” in Greek so it is appropriate that as our children become youth they begin learning who Jesus is to them on a more personal level. Chi Rho is a group designed specifically for middle school youth that encourages discussions, questions, and learning about faith, life, the Bible, and more.
We play a lot of fun games, eat a bunch of good food, and hang out with one another in a supportive, bully-free zone that is Christ centered and always fun.
The group is open to all middle-school youth in grades 6th – 8th. The group meets Wednesday from 3:30pm-5:30pm for after school study and fellowship, Friday from 6pm-8pm for fun and fellowship, and Sunday morning for Sunday school. We will also have sleepovers and pop-up day mission trips. The goal of this group is to support our youth in their daily lives and walk with them as they develop their faith.
